The Junior Auxiliary of Taney County recently selected its scholarship recipients for 2012.  We present a $500 scholarship to a senior at each high school in Taney County each year.   Because we want to encourage young people to volunteer in our community, we base part of our application process on their community volunteer efforts.  This year we are presenting $500 scholarships to Anna Palmer from Branson High School, Taylor Pierce from Hollister High School, Hannah Swift from Bradleyville High School, and Kaila Foutch from Forsyth High School.

Junior Auxiliary also offers a renewable $500 Scholar Care scholarship each year.  This scholarship is designed to offer the recipient personal encouragement in addition to financial support.  The recipient receives a monthly care package from a Junior Auxiliary member along with the financial award.  This year JA is proud to renew Scholar Care scholarships for Landon Cook of Bradleyville and Lexie Rick of Hollister, and will award a renewable Scholar Care scholarship to Adrian Gibbs of Forsyth High School.

Junior Auxiliary of Taney County is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to render charitable services which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children.  JA is a group of women dedicated to improving the lives of children in Taney County.  JA projects are designed to fulfill the virtues of Charity, Youth, Health, Community Service, and Leadership in members and those we serve.  We believe that by caring today we build character for tomorrow.

JA offers our congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients for their achievements and contributions to our community and best wishes for continued success in their academic pursuits.

Bill’s Sales and Service would like to thank Junior Auxiliary Members for their service to the children of Taney County.

Congratulation to all the 2012 Taney County Junior Auxiliary scholarship recipients from Bill's Sales and Service.
